2022: History Created On 23rd March 2022 – Pakistan Day, for the first time in the history of Queensland, the official iconic 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 and other buildings 𝐥𝐢𝐭 𝐮𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲

Thank you Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner, Brisbane City Council (BCC) team and Cr Angela Owen – Councillor for Calamvale for 𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 and 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐝.

This Light Up is organised by: Pakistan Australian Cultural Association – PACA with full support from H.E. Lord Mayor and BCC, and a gift to the proactive and vibrant Pakistani community in Queensland.

110+ Young stars performed at Australia’s largest Sold Out – Pakistan Resolution Day Celebrations & Dinner 2022. More than 800+ audience including kids and adults.

We are very thankful to our beautiful community for love and support, selfless volunteers working over weeks, MC Muhammad Shahid & MC Seemen Haider, the young 110+ super star kids, their mothers and fathers, High Achievers, and Community Local Heroes.

The Co-Chief Guests have been Jim Chalmers MP (Shadow Federal Treasurer), Amy MacMahon – Greens MP for South BrisbaneCr Angela Owen – Councillor for Calamvale Ward representing Lord Mayor Adrian SchrinnerPenny Allman-Payne, Greens Senate Candidate for Qld representing Senator Larissa Waters. Acting Inspector Murray Crone representing Police Commissioner (We missed Lord Mayor and James Martin for their extremely valid cancellations)
