Dear Respected Members, Families, and Potential Members, In alignment with Clauses…
Urdu & English language (bilingual) Storytime at Museum of Brisbane (MoB) 2022
The first ever Urdu & English language (bilingual) storytime at Museum of Brisbane (MoB) in collaboration with Pakistan Australian Cultural Association – PACA. It followed with craft activities for young children (0-5 years). We are thankful to our amazing storytellers Ainee (MoB) & Rabab Fatima Naqvi (PACA volunteer) for keeping young kids engaged, entertained and be part of history of first ever Urdu related event at MoB.
Note: A MoU has been signed between Pakistan Australian Cultural Association and Museum of Brisbane for collaboration. Pakistan Australian Cultural Association (PACA) team is keen on its goals to elevate Pakistan, Pakistani Australians & Urdu in our beautiful and diverse Australia. This collaboration between PACA and the Museum of Brisbane is one of the first steps in the right direction. A lot more to come with your and everyone’s support!
“The MoU identifies the commitment of the Museum of Brisbane (MoB), not-profit organization that celebrated the creatives and history makers to deepen an understanding of place, reflects Brisbane’s people and passions and its ever-evolving cultures – to collaborate with Pakistan Australian Cultural Association (PACA) – one of the most recognized Pakistani organizations in Australia, open to all people of Pakistani descent and promoting Pakistani interest and culture while at the same time being a vibrant member of Australian Society.
PACA agrees to collaborate with MoB to deliver its Bilingual Storytime program. Bilingual Storytime is a free program that MoB commenced in 2021 as a program for children (0-5yo) and their guardians…. This program aims to promote diversity, create a sense of community and promote contact at an early age with the Museum of Brisbane.”
Note: PACA team is keen on its goals to elevate Pakistan, Pakistani Australians & Urdu in our beautiful and diverse Australia. Thanks to PACA EC Member Mrs. Amber Ali for her efforts to make this happen. This is only one step in the right direction. A lot more to come!
